easyTech Durham is a mobile tech help business serving Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Oshawa in Durham Region, Ontario. Our website address is https://www.easytechdurham.ca

What information we collect

When you fill out our contact form we collect your first name, phone number or email address, area of Durham Region, and a description of your tech issue or enquiry. We also collect information about how you heard about us if you choose to provide it.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and arrange a visit. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to any third parties.

Contact form submissions

Our forms are processed through Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored securely and only accessible to easyTech Durham. There are three forms on this site:

• Contact form: used only to reply to you and arrange a visit, quote, or free scam check.
• Scam report form: if you report a scam, we may publish an anonymized summary on our Scam Alert Board to warn others. We remove names, phone numbers, addresses, account details, and anything else that could identify you or the person involved before anything is published, and we never publish the report itself.
• Scam alert email signup: your email address is used only to send you the monthly scam alert update. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also email us to be removed.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to tell repeat visits apart. It collects the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (city level, from your internet address), and the type of device and browser you use. It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into our forms, and we do not link it to any enquiry you send us. We use it only to see which pages are useful. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.

Your rights
